NOTICE: Rossman Boat Launch closed until further notice
The condition of the Rossman Avenue boat launch has deteriorated to the point that it can no longer provide reliable and safe function. Much of the concrete planking is broken or dislodged. Accordingly, the launch will be closed until it can be replaced. The good news is improvements to the boat launch are included with the City Beach project that is currently underway. We anticipate the boat launch improvements to be completed in August or September of this summer based on current progress and schedule. As a reminder, there are two public boat access located on Big Detroit Lakes that are open and available for public use. Thank you for your patience as these improvements are completed.
